Portugal snatch late winner against Czech Republic
Hranac own goal gives Selecao victory
Portugal left it late to snatch a 1-1 draw against Czech Republic in their UEFA Nations League clash on Tuesday night.
The Czechs took the lead in the 30th minute when Provod curled a superb effort into the top corner. However, Portugal levelled things up just before half-time when Hranac inadvertently turned the ball into his own net under pressure from Mendes.
The second half was a cagey affair, with both sides struggling to create clear-cut chances. However, Portugal finally found a breakthrough in the 89th minute when Conceicao fired home from close range.
The win moves Portugal up to second place in Group A2, while Czech Republic remain bottom.
